Not quite the collaboration I expected, but I would’ve said the same when Yo Gotti teamed up with Lil Baby for “Put a Date On It.” Joining forces with Lil Uzi Vert this time around, Gotti returns with a new single.
Back with “Pose,” the song arrives as fans await a new project from both artists. On top of Uzi’s Eternal Atake, Gotti continues to add the finishing touches to his 2017 I Still Am follow-up.
“Dope boy, I’m on Polaroid / Photo’s make me paranoid / Bitch open up her camera phone / This that shit I be tryna avoid / Bitch, I ain’t tryna make no blog with you,” he raps. Lil Uzi comes through at the end and hits the record out of the park. Stream the song above.
Gotti’s last album, I Still Am, dropped in 2017. Lil Uzi Vert’s most recent album, Luv Is Rage 2, was released the same year. More recently Uzi dropped a handful of singles including “New Patek,” “Free Uzi,” and others.
