Jessie Cave says her breast augmentation became part of a practical plan to extend the surprising success she has found making hair-focused content on OnlyFans.
Jessie Cave, best known for playing Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter films, has opened up about treating plastic surgery as a “business decision” after her OnlyFans account became an unexpectedly lucrative new chapter in her career. Speaking to The Times, Cave discussed how the subscription platform changed her finances and influenced her decision to undergo breast augmentation.
Cave launched her OnlyFans in March 2025, focusing on non-explicit content built around her long hair rather than nudity. The venture quickly surpassed her expectations, with Cave saying she earned more from the platform in a year than she had across her acting career and made more than £15,000 on her first day.
That success also helped fund a procedure she had wanted for some time. Cave previously revealed that she underwent breast augmentation around the first anniversary of her OnlyFans launch, after years of pregnancy and breastfeeding, and said she was pleased to finally make a physical change she had considered before.
In her latest interview, Cave framed the surgery in commercial terms as well as personal ones, describing it as a “business decision.” She acknowledged that her signature hair content may not sustain subscriber interest indefinitely and said, “My hair can only do so much.”
The actress has repeatedly emphasized that her OnlyFans content remains non-explicit, despite the platform’s association with adult material. Her posts center on hair-focused videos and ASMR-style content, and Cave has spoken openly about both the financial relief the work has provided and the stigma she has encountered since joining the service.
Cave’s unconventional career shift follows years of work across acting, comedy and writing after her appearances in three Harry Potter films. Now, as she balances performance work with online content creation and raising four children, she has described OnlyFans as a source of financial stability while also considering how long she wants this phase of her career to continue.
