Dom Okon is a famous instrumental artist who his known to many for the success of his first album Youthly. Earlier in 2023, Okon saw his debut album go on to chart on iTunes (peaking at #74). This made Dom Okon the youngest American instrumental artist to have a song chart on the iTunes Pop Charts.
In the span of six months, the musician has made music history again with sophomore effort Emergent. Emergent which is an album about growing up and becoming older has found a spot on the iTunes Pop Charts in South Africa. The single titled Emergent peaked at #1. Emergent charting on iTunes, makes Dom Okon the youngest American instrumental artist to have two consecutive iTunes Top 100 albums.
