‘Box State Boppers Volume 1’ is the official debut EP from Denver’s own SIRDEVON. The EP itself is a nod to his hometown, the mile high city of Denver, and is filled with big tunes sure to make your head bop. Originally a twelve track album, SIRDEVON decided to split the album into shorter EPs to allow the image of SIRDEVON to take shape.
“Box State Boppers Volume 1” is the type of art so special that its relevance persists through generations. The project draws listeners in with its lyricism, rich vocals and heavy-bass. Every element of the project places listeners right into the heart of the character at hand.
SIRDEVON has come a long way since first starting to write at age 14. Opening up the Summer Jam festival in Seattle when he was 16, SIRDEVON has made a name for himself amongst local DJs. SIRDEVON released several EPs on Soundcloud with an R&B sound that had a danceable vibe to it.
Following a short break from music, SIRDEVON is back with a new sound and style, writing about love and relationships and life as a young man in the Mile High City. “I like to write catchy tunes that inspire, motivate and make people want to dance.”
