Rihanna Says Stream Is Coming
Rihanna has remained quiet about the follow-up to 2016’s ANTI, but she did confirm that a new album is indeed in the works.
A fan left a comment on Instagram in response to a post about her Savage X Fenty lingerie line, saying they were tried of waiting for new music. But Rihanna assured fans that the music is coming—they just have to have a little patience as she juggles her busy schedule.

“I know, I know sis. I’m doing music,” responded RiRi. “Simultaneously doing lingerie, makeup, film, amongst a couple other things that I enjoy.”
She continued, “When the music is ready, you won’t have to ask for it. But it’s coming. Just not today sis. I’m hype too tho, it can’t come soon enough for me. #Navy4Life.”
In July, Rolling Stone reported that RiRi was working on two albums, a dancehall album and a pop album. She reportedly has over 500 songs to choose from for the dancehall project, which may include collaborations with R. City, Ricky Blaze, Kranium, and Supa Dups.
Tonight, Rihanna will present her Savage X Fenty fashion show during New York Fashion Week. The show will Stream live at 7:30 p.m. EST on Rihanna’s YouTube channel. A pop-up shop will open in NYC on Sept. 13.
