Emerging hip hop artist ReepMan is set to drop his highly anticipated first single With It on 18th December 2025, marking the lead track from his forthcoming Fresh off the Corner EP.
This hip hop release draws inspiration from an unexpected departure from a gentlemen’s club during a night out. The following day, ReepMan headed to a solo studio session, still buzzing from the previous evening’s events. En route, he polished off lyrics while ideas for ad-libs and delivery continued to build. Although one-take recordings are a myth, this session stood out as lyrics flowed effortlessly without the need to glance at his phone.
ReepMan steps confidently into the spotlight with a debut that feels polished, instinctive, and fearless, delivering a track that captures raw momentum while sounding effortlessly controlled. The record carries a sharp sense of timing and presence, balancing slick confidence with lived experience, and it is clear the artist knows exactly how to command a beat without forcing the moment. His voice cuts through with clarity and intent, showing discipline, charisma, and an ear for detail that separates him from the crowd. ReepMan, also known as Papi Benkos or Fresh Prince of the C (Clapham), embodies homegrown talent with global potential and undeniable star appeal. Born in St Thomas Hospital and raised mostly in Clapham Common, he first dipped into music and fame during secondary school. This led to his initial music videos on Link Up TV in 2017, followed by a few freestyles, before a brief hiatus. He made a comeback in 2020 with his debut afrobeat single Grind Today.
Building momentum with two singles between 2021 and 2022, which garnered countless radio plays and playlists from Reprezent Radio to BBC 1Xtra, ReepMan secured a distribution deal in the United States under Roc Nation’s Equity Distribution arm, though that chapter has since concluded. Honing his stage presence and networking skills, he embarked on an open mic tour, performing at every local show available. This dedication culminated in joining the Son of a Legend Tour UK alongside US hip hop artist Nhale, son of the legendary Nate Dogg.
