“These songs are real diary entries from my old college journal that I transformed into songs,” Nilla Allin reveals in a recent interview.
Nilla Allin‘s recent project is one of her most relatable yet, since each song elicits a distinct feeling, ranging from rage to shame to love and happiness. ‘Nilla’s Diary,’ her latest 5-track LP, is currently accessible on all platforms and portrays the different feelings felt today throughout friendships and relationships.
“Most love songs/breakup songs explore romance and toxicity between partners; however, friendships can be just as toxic and those breakups hurt just as much, if not more,” she says.
A specific standout on the project include “Letter To My Ex BF,” in which Nilla directs her attention to one of her ex best-friends.This new effort realizes that letting go of any poison in your life is fine as long as you allow yourself to be joyful at the end of the day. Listeners might anticipate a joyful conclusion with the sweet-singing melodies and rap lines.
“I also hope this project inspires my fans to care for themselves and love themselves first before they can love someone else romantically.” Nilla Allin shared. “Definitely be on the lookout for more visuals and freestyles! After this release, I’ll be working on another fun, upbeat single that I plan to release with a visual over the summer.”
