Chyannea Sky Hodges aka Rose Bby Chy is a R&B singer, writer, dancer, and actress. California now has a new R&B, Queen on the sense. Rose bby is mentored and produced by the successful Grammy winning sensation NE-YO & and his Compound Entertainment imprint. Born on September 30, 1998 Chyannea Sky Hodges Aka Rose bby grew up in Pasadena, California as the only Child to Father Christian McAllister X -NFL Star from Pasadena and Mother Tstar Hodes, At home mom, and hairstyles.
Rose never met her dad, he left her and her mom, before she was born and never tried contacting them again. Rose only heard Stories of her famous dad, and watched him on YouTube or clips on TV. Rose bby mother soon after battle drug use and suffered from Mental illness and homelessness. Rose was sent to live with her grandmother who did her best to keep her in school and Church. That’s where Rose developed the love for music and sports.
During 2008 rose was considered one of the top singers at her high school (john muir high school) in Pasadena, California. In 2011, rose bby was label one of Pasadena city college (PCC) Top prospect in women’s Basketball headed for the WNBA. She was a real standout player. But like many youth in the low income communities Rose was introduced to drugs, crime, gangs by her classmates, teammates, from school.
But she always continued to dream and work on her craft weather it’s Basketball or singing, and writing music. In late 2022 Rose was introduced to a long time manager and film producer Charles dre Jennings from areazone entertainment and Ne-yo’s compound Entertainment, Ro helped kick start her career.
Rose is scheduled to star in Barbi Armor Scott’s best selling book “Trap Gyrl” as Moe in 2024. NETFLIX series, and also v.v. doc Scott’s 2024 film no means no. Rose bby is the definition of beating the odds and overcoming the painful memories of her past. Rose bby’s mission is to seek help for her mother.
