Born Leif Kendruis Smith, Lil Poke was raised on the westside of Montgomery, Alabama in a community known as Smiley Court. Since a child, Lil Poke has always had a love for music. It wouldn’t be until January 2021 when Poke would start taking his rapping skills serious.
in January of 2021 while enlisted in the army, Lil Poke released his first single titled “Rough Ryder”. Poke was influenced by rappers like NBA Youngboy, Rod Wave & others. Poke’s passion inspired him to perfect his craft and sound in a unique way. Known for melodic flows and southern style, Lil Poke has already shown to be a versatile artist.
Through the very short amount of time in his career, Lil Poke has released many singles leading up to his debut mixtape “Rookie of the Year” and one month after that his debut Ep “Block Babii”. As of 2023, Lil Poke has released a couple of singles and his latest Ep “Cote Baby Blues”. Poke is currently promoting his hit single “Ammunition”.
