Meek Mill decided to get proactive about blogs’ tendency to only cover “goofy sh*t” he does by giving them something else to post about — namely, new music. Today, the Philadelphia rapper released a new video for a no-frills quick hitter called “Flamers Flow”.
Directed by Carters Vision, the accompanying clip for “Flamerz Flow” is a collection of footage showing what’s presumed to be Meek’s everyday lifestyle. The Dream Chasers head honcho can be seen in the studio with Bobby Shmurda, at a party with Dave East, and more — as signature in many of Meek’s previous videos, plenty of dirt bikes are also spotted on a highway.
Last year, Meek Mill did provide his fans with some music with Quarantine Pack, a four-track EP that saw additional contributions from Lil Durk, Vory, and 42 Dugg. He also took a leading role in the drama Charm City Kings, which also starred Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Will Catlett, and Teyonah Parris — the film was mainly centered around Baltimore’s motorbike culture.
Meek’s last official LP, Championships, was released in 2018 and featured assists from Cardi B, JAY-Z, Rick Ross, Drake, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Fabolous, Future, Roddy Ricch, and more. A massive success, that album peaked at the top of the Billboard 200 and has since earned Meek a Platinum certication.
A month ago, he had dropped a remix over Drake’s ‘Lemon Pepper Freestyle’ beat. Watch Meek Mill’s “Flamerz Flow” video below.
