Lord Divine is a talented HipHop artist born and raised in the Bronx, New York City. Growing up in one of the most dangerous & HipHop influenced projects in NY, Lord Divine used this to his advantage. He is not your typical rapper because he hasn’t been rapping his whole life.
At just the age of 9 he had 3 jobs and was hustling like no other. Through the years he got involved in criminal activity landing himself in prison in Ohio for 10 years, but it lead him to start writing poetry in prison and then eventually to rhythm his songs.
Lord Divine had a huge influence from Biggie Smalls in his music and the way Biggie delivered it kept Divine in tune with NY. When Biggie was murdered in 1997, Lord Divine didn’t know how he was going to finish his time and felt lost. With his great success and fresh start with music, Lord Divine wants his fans to visualize his music as it’s a story. He believes in the art of storytelling, and wants his audience to truly feel his music.
