Feb 27, 2021, 05:24am EST — Looks like Jhené Aiko is out here getting that soundtrack money because her latest single is one of the leads from the upcoming Walt Disney film Raya and the Last Dragon. The record was previewed in the official trailer that dropped.
Billboard reports the song will receive an official video from Carlos López Estrada, one of the Raya and the Last Dragon directors. The visual is expected to arrive next month.
Raya and the Last Dragon will premiere on March 5 at select U.S theaters and via the Disney+ platiform with Premier Access. You can listen to “Lead the Way” via YouTube or Spotify below.
Back in March, Aiko unveiled her third studio album Chilombo. From the project, she also dropped a music video for her song “A&B.” The 20 track-album included features from Ab-Soul, Big Sean, Future, Miguel, Nas, H.E.R., John Legend, Ty Dolla $ign, and debuted at the number two spot on the Billboard 200 thanks to an impressive 152,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release. Months after, she unleashed a deluxe version of the album.
