Lil Wayne Celebrates 36th Birthday And Tha Carter V Release

Lil Wayne not only celebrated the long-awaited release of Tha Carter V, but also his 36th birthday with a star-studded soirée at Hubble Studio in Los Angeles last night (Sept. 27).
As his album hit Streaming services, Weezy sipped Bumbu cocktails and toasted with some famous friends at the invite-only event nicknamed “Wayne’s World.”
Stevie Wonder, Chris Brown, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Ashanti, Tiffany Haddish, Timbaland, Ray J, Rae Sremmurd, Trippie Redd, Trey Songz, and Weezy’s daughter Reginae joined the Young Money chief in celebration.
The all-night bash, which ran into the early hours of Friday morning, featured some of Weezy’s favorites, including traditional New Orleans food catered by Trap Kitchen, candy and marijuana, and a skate ramp. Plus, there were two goats to pay homage to the GOAT himself. Tunechi held court in VIP before being presented with a three-tier cake featuring photos and his favorite skateboard.
After years of anticipation and waiting, Tha Carter V dropped at midnight featuring Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, XXXTentacion, Snoop Dogg, Ashanti, and more.
