The Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers and multiple teams with championship aspirations have expressed interest in trading for Detroit Pistons guard Derrick Rose, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
According to Chris B. Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the Lakers are one of the teams that have expressed interest in the former league MVP, along with the Philadelphia 76ers. Here are the full details, per Haynes:
The former MVP is currently playing for the Detroit Pistons and has been a consistent offensive weapon for the Pistons this year.
Joining the Lakers as potential suitors for Rose, the Philadelphia 76ers have also expressed interest in acquiring the Chicago native. Sources tell Yahoo! Sports’ Chris Haynes that Rose enjoys his situation in Detroit and isn’t looking to be traded.
But it appears that the Pistons could be looking to retool as Blake Griffin is out indefinitely and they have also entertained trade talks for their All-Star center Andre Drummond.
