Fans were equal parts skeptical and excited when Kim Kardashian shared what looked to be a tracklist and release date for a new Kanye West album called Jesus Is King last week.
Yeezy Season is officially upon us. On Thursday (Sept. 5), Kanye West confirmed on his website that his ninth solo studio album, ‘Jesus Is King,’ arrives September 27.

There’s not long to wait now to determine whether Jesus Is King will take the form of an all-out gospel album. But given the titles alone, as well as West’s ongoing investment in the Sunday Service format, it looks to be a sonic departure from YANDHI.
