Two unique specifications, described by the artist himself, Rosco P. Born into a family filled with musicians, the Lansing, Michigan soloist relies on his members as musical inspiration. “My Uncle was/is a professional Jazz musician, so I’d always listen to stories about his weekend gigs as a child at Sunday dinners,” he shares, “From there I ventured off into hip hop where I got my roots, and I began to cultivate my own sound from there. Based (on) influences such as Travis Scott, The Weeknd, and etc.”
Honoring the music of 2017, which he says is “what set the stage” for him, he begins to put the pieces together and become heavily involved in music. “When I hit the stage there are no breaks. We are jumping from start to finish and we’re sweating out our outfits,” he quotes his style of talent, “It’s a perfect sound for all ethnicities.”
Currently, Rosco P. has his album “N.R.G” available on streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, and more. He is also conducting a future EP, “D.R.U.G’s”, produced by Pianogotkeys. “It’s an acronym that stands for Dear Rager’s Ur Gods. It will be a total of 5 songs that cover 5 different vibes, all of which true ragers will instantly crave,” says Rosco P. The EP will also include Houston’s, Lil Jairmy. In addition to the names listed, Rosco P. has collaborated with artists such as Molly Brazy, Kodie Shane, Waka Flocka, Big Sean, and A$AP Rocky, and more.
