EZ Papi Comes Through With All The Vibes In His New Album, ‘Trapped Emotions 2’

EZ’s most recent project, Trapped Emotions 2, is a follow-up to his last album, Trapped Emotions, which debuted in 2019.

Kansas City, Missouri native EZ Papi, who is currently residing in Los Angeles, is making headway with his latest album, Trapped Emotions 2. The project is a a sequel to his last record, Trapped Emotions, which was inspired by his want to create a project centering around love and pain, paralleled to the storytelling of Shakespeare. His goal was to create a project that has the same “same heartbreak and romance” that Shakespeare exudes in his work.

His seven-track project is full of love, sensual affection, introspection, sorrow, and pure joy, as EZ bodies each track with his signature mixture of Afro-pop mixed with Caribbean music.

The artist showcases his versatility and unique flair for music as his sound blends and melds from one song to another, adapting to different beats and fluctuations of sound. The project is flawless as it is hard to narrow down a standout track as the whole project is a bop or vibe.

EZ puts his heart n soul into the project, as he creates a true love story, the good and the bad, as he narrates a ” series of love and pain” into a narrative, reminiscent of the love and passion illustrated in Shakespeare’s plays, and what makes EZ stand out as an artist and set him apart from any other artist. His lyrical, melodic cadence and storytelling capabilities are genuine and ethereal.

EZ Papi’s blend of Afrobeat, Reggaeton, Dancehall, or Afro-Caribbean, positively shows its brightness on his latest project, Trapped Emotions 2, which gives it that summertime feel, seeping love, joy, and seeking good times. With standout hits as “Let Me See U,” “Spanish Nights,” “Blame Me,” and “Go Low,” though, his whole project is a gem as there is something for everyone.
