Estelle Lovers Rock Album – Estelle has returned with a new album, following up her 2015 effort True Romance. Her latest project, Lovers Rock, finds the singer exploring a reggae-infused direction, apparently inspired by her parent’s generation.
As she explains to Exclaim, her birth was the result of the “Lovers Rock” era, which centered around the harmonious unities of love and music. Linking up with collaborators like Chronixx, HoodCelebrity, and Luke James, Estelle sounds at ease, sliding over slick production with grace.
