After a two-year hiatus, Drake has formally announced the return of OVO Fest. “I hope all these guys will join me this year ’cause we bringing OVO Fest back so I hope we can go crazy!” he announced to the crowd, pointing to the Raptors players.
Taking place in the middle of Toronto’s Caribana weekend, the 2019 lineup looks like something straight out of 2003 (as well as The Millennium Tour from a few months back), as Aubrey is going completely throwback this time: Mario, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy, Pretty Ricky, Bobby V and Lloyd are among the first round of performers announced.
OVO Fest 2019 kicks off on August 4 at the Budweiser Amphitheater in Toronto, Canada. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 12 over at Live Nation.
