Since the last decade, music fans have shifted to digital streaming, which has allowed each listener access to endless libraries of music. Because of this shift, it has since sparked musicians like DJ Rebuttal, who now make music to appease multiple audiences of fans.
An example of this is DJ Rebuttal’s most recent release, “Night Will Come,” which came out earlier this year. The song is a three-plus minute song that bends the genre of EDM with Hip-hop. Combining the two most popular genres is exactly what DJ Rebuttal felt he needed to do in order to appeal to a wide range of fans. About this, DJ Rebuttal stated, “I make music that evolves with people because that is what you have to do in order to stay relevant in this fast-changing industry.”
