Cardi B makes history yet again.
Grammy-winning rapper made history last night by shattering an attendance record set by Garth Brooks, reports the Houston Chronicle covering the landmark performance at the NGR Stadium.
Cardi B set a record while making her debut at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at NRG Park on Friday night (Mar. 1). Tickets sold out in 40 minutes, according to the Houston Chronicle.
A total of 75,580 people showed up to party with Cardi, breaking the all-time paid attendance record and beating Garth Brooks’ second 2018 performance by three people.

Cardi served the Houston crowd a sparkle-ridden Cowgirl outfit, as she delivered a medley of fan-favorites such as “Be Careful,” “Money Bag,” “Drip,” “Bickenhead,” “She Bad,” “Ring,” culminating in the live performance debut of her “Please Me” duet with Bruno Mars, albeit without the diminutive singer present.
Cardi went on Instagram after the show, she reflected on the milestone moment while standing alongside a picture of the late Selena, who inspired her “Please Me” video look. “I just want to say that I’m honored for beating the Houston Rodeo show,” She said.
“I was so nervous to perform in front of 75,000-plus people, but when I saw this picture, like, out of all the outfits that she wore…this was the inspiration for ‘Please Me.’”
