Joshdifferent has been compared to jcole for some of his wity lyrics and verses. Josh has more of a lyrical style with catchy flows which is divergent from the newer artists like lil uzi, lil yachty, polo g, juice world etc. Although with many different styles and flows Josh is more of a drake type artist. At 26 years old Joshdifferent has multiple mixtapes out, some under the name JAB, his previous name is a Musician.
Considering he mix, masters, and produces 95% of his music the lyrical punchline rap never seems to disappoint. At 12 Joshdifferent dropped a mixtape called “nothing but business” which for 12-year-old featured some impressive punchlines. Although do a rap music has gravitated away from this type of rap, Josh has still incorporated it into his style of music.
Joshdifferent has recently moved to New York and then Las Vegas for different opportunities. Later quoting “A prophet will not be accepted in his home town” in a YouTube video. Coming from a dysfunctional family who he became the black-sheep in Has not only shaped him but it’s also allowed him to speak out an advocate for people dealing with this specific situation as well.
