Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
My latest release “Alone” was inspired by a bought of depression that I overcame. Some of life most valuable possessions were made under pressure, and some of the greatest ideas were formulated from a place of isolation. I have been a major part of a lot of success stories and It was past time for me to push myself beyond my comfort zone and to start my own and I have some epic stories to tell! This song creates a visual of being fed up with the unknown and is open enough for listeners to generate their own personal interpretation.
What is unique about you and your music?
My music is like if an R&B singer had a baby with the Migos, I would be that
baby! My R&B songs are inspired by my personal experiences. Some people express their life events though various ways and I like to express mine through music. To me it’s much more than a catchy baseline, it’s my lifeblood!
What shaped your music?
Being raised deeply rooted in the Christian faith and growing up listing to soulful music, music has always captivated me. Because of my beginnings I have always been passionate about music, from starting out singing in church, landing a lead position in the school choir, to singing in a group, I always desired to be surround by music! I landed somewhere in between connecting with my spiritually and the more meaningful aspects of music and trap music where there’s just a vibe. Somewhere in the middle is where I formulated a distinctive sound that anyone can relate to.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
I started my career as an artist in an all male singing group. Every since I was in my youth I knew I wanted to share my love for music. Life took me through various challenges and I found myself in several different avenues of the music field. I stepped back from it all and really did some soul searching on where I wanted my relationship with music to go. I thought about all the times where music became my safe haven from different challenges that life threw at me. I decided that I wanted to put out in the world relatable music that offered more than a catchy hook and in order to achieve my goal I would need a big enough platform to reach the multitudes. I wanted to make music that in a way speaks to each person individually. The pandemic paused my life as it did everyone’s briefly but helped me to have the time to refocus and find a way to reignite my passion for music.
What type of music do you listen to?
In all honesty, when it comes to genres of music, I am not bias. I’m just a music head! I love all music from to gospel music to pop, trap, jazz, soul, music, funk, rock and even classical.
What inspires you to write music?
Music is literally my therapy. When something is on my mind or heart that’s when inspiration is born. I’m inspired by circumstances and experiences.
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
I love creating all kinds of content! I am a professional stylist and enjoy creating unique looks. I also work with other artist and help them on various projects. I also love to travel and have been literally all around the globe.
Happiness to you is…
My definition of happiness is the ability to be completely satisfied with one’s self and your surroundings. Knowing that my family is taken care of and that I am secure in myself is happiness.
What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
I wish someone had told me that it’s ok to have failures and to miss the mark, but to never give up or be stagnant because of a failure. Failure is our greatest teacher and it helps to push us to our greatest self. Also to never second guess yourself or your value and the contributions that you make to your craft, undervaluing yourself only delays your progress.
Tell us about your upcoming projects…
I am excited to release an EP for my song “Alone”. My team and I are working hard to finish up the final details, and I encourage you to be on the lookout for it in the upcoming months.
Where do we find you music / music projects?

Any last words for the readers?
I have been through a lot of adversary and for the most part, my life has been a roller coaster. My anchor has been the support of my family, my faith in God and believing in myself. I want people to feel like they can do anything, because they can. Music is my therapy and I tell my story in my own unique way. Expressing myself through music helps me to navigate life and is my reason. I hope that my journey inspires people to believe in themselves. My personal desire is that my music can be a haven for someone like music was for me and that everyone knows that most importantly God is the source of my strength and success.
