Deriving inspiration from the wordsmith skills of 2Pac, Eminem, TI, and Lil Wayne, it always moved the rising artist to see others use words to advance their own lives. This is no surprise for his fans. With a unique style and diverse flow, BG Fa$t is fixed on setting himself apart, paying special attention to the vivid details and authenticity of the stories he tells through his music. No stranger to life’s obstacles, he’s set on staying genuine. “No matter what life threw at me, I never gave up on myself, stayed true to my talents, and kept pushing, even though all my homies used to tell me I’m saying too much in my raps as far as details of my life,” he says. But as an artist, authenticity is his goal. On top of writing new songs and entertaining his fans, BG Fa$t knows that this intention will get him to the top of his game. It has undoubtedly left his audience wanting more.
Today, as a fast-growing artist, published author, and now-aspiring film producer, BG Fa$t has his aims set even higher, and no matter how far he climbs or how much he’s worked to get there, he reminds himself everyday of what it took to make it all look so easy. “It’s important to never forget where you come from,” he reflects. Through and through, his fans can look out for more music and authentic storytelling. With his blinders on, there’s only building from here. “I don’t see anyone as competition,” he notes. “I’m winning already.”
