It captures the feeling of trying to fill the emptiness with distractions or other people, but nothing replaces the connection you had with them. Even though they’ve lied and you’ve told yourself you were done, you’re still drawn back to them – still craving the comfort of their touch and the clarity they never gave you. It’s a confession of vulnerability: admitting that you shouldn’t still care, but do, and being stuck in that cycle of longing, denial, and emotional attachment.”
About the Artist:
Pheonyx is a London-based pop and R&B artist and natural dancer, whose work is shaped by instinct, self-belief, and lived experience. Entirely self-taught, he approaches music with a natural confidence, blending emotive vocals with a strong sense of movement.
