21 Savage Shares Release Date For New Album

We’ve been waiting on a new album from 21 Savage for a minute now, and it looks like it’ll finally be arriving in the coming weeks. The rapper revealed a few weeks ago that his album was finished.

Shortly after, he tweeted, “it’s bout to get cold. Savage Season.” Looks like Savage Season will be coming just before Christmas as the ATL rapper announced an official release date for his upcoming album.

21 Savage will be blessing us with his sophomore album before the year’s done. The rapper took to Twitter to reveal that his album would be dropping on December 7th, 2018. It seems like the initial release date he had in mind was pushed back a tad. In early October, the rapper tweeted, “”1?.?6.18,” which made many assume it would be dropping on either October 26th or November 16th.

Although 21 Savage only announced that he finished his album in early October, the rapper did give fans a bit of insight on what to expect on his forthcoming project.

Speaking with XXL, the rapper said that he intends on going back to his roots and delivering more gangster music, as opposed to the majority of the songs on Issa.

“I don’t be knowing what the fans want ’cause it be like…they want, like, the ‘Bank Account’ music, but I don’t know. I wanna get back on some gangsta shit ’cause I feel like everybody rap about money and cars.

Like they say I rap about too much guns and shit, but that’s what the hell be going on. That’s what really be going on, like, in real life,” he said.
