Yung Miami says her request for a Drake remix feature went unanswered, a release-week revelation as her debut solo album Watch Dis! brings together an already extensive guest list.

Yung Miami says Drake left her “Spend Dat” remix request on read. Complex reported the account from her conversation with Nessa, published by HOT 97 on October 23. The account comes from Miami; an unanswered request does not establish why a proposed collaboration failed to happen.

The HOT 97 interview places that anecdote inside a much broader discussion of her first solo album. Miami talked about spending two years on the project and facing skepticism, as well as working with Travis Scott and Bryson Tiller. She also explained the importance of including Miami veterans Trina, Trick Daddy and Rick Ross.

The released album offers a clear picture of where the song ultimately went. Two “Spend Dat” remixes appear on Watch Dis!: one featuring Lil Baby and Kodak Black, and an international version with Davido, Shenseea and Vybz Kartel. Neither includes Drake, and they represent distinct collaborations rather than alternate descriptions of the same recording.

As XXL reports, the album arrived on October 23, following the singles “2008” and “F You.” “Spend Dat” had already reached No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier in the year. The remix conversation therefore concerns an established hit, not an unreleased song that depended on a Drake appearance to reach listeners.

The interview’s other emotional thread is Miami’s relationship with JT. Nessa asked about “Dear JT,” whether her former City Girls partner had heard it before release and the possibility of a reunion. Miami also addressed Joe Budden’s criticism and her decision not to appear on his podcast, bringing the scrutiny around her solo career into the same conversation as the music.

Elsewhere on the album, Watch Dis! contains concrete collaborations fans can now hear. “Dade County” gathers Rick Ross, Trina and Trick Daddy; “Just Might Go” features Travis Scott; and “Ride For You” pairs Miami with Summer Walker. The album expands the previously announced tracklist into a released body of work, with the HOT 97 conversation explaining some of the choices and relationships behind it.
