Yung Miami says her long-awaited solo debut is complete, with the success of “Spend Dat” giving her a new level of confidence heading into the next chapter.

Yung Miami is ready to move from a breakout solo single to a full-length project. During her August 13 appearance on Way Up With Angela Yee, the former City Girls rapper confirmed that her debut solo album is finished and said she is eager for listeners to finally hear the music.

“No, the album is done,” Miami said when asked about the project’s status. She added that she is “so proud” and “so excited” about the record, framing the moment as the payoff to a stretch in which she had been trying to establish herself outside the group that first brought her mainstream success.

The album arrives with significantly more momentum behind it thanks to “Spend Dat,” which Miami described in the interview as the first official single from the project. Released in April, the J White Did It-produced track became her highest-charting solo Hot 100 hit and quickly developed into one of the most visible rap records of the summer.

Miami has made clear that she felt strongly about “Spend Dat” before the numbers arrived. Speaking to PEOPLE at the 2026 BET Awards, she said she loved the song’s energy and believed from the beginning that it could connect, while the record’s viral dance challenge and steady chart growth helped turn that confidence into a genuine solo breakthrough.

The rapper also told Angela Yee that she is ready to get the new music out and reconnect with supporters through live shows. “I’m ready, like I’m ready to put out the music and just really go perform and touch with my fans,” she said, while adding that any future tour needs to happen at the right time with the right preparation.

No official release date or album title has been announced. Still, with the project now complete and “Spend Dat” giving her strongest solo run to date, Yung Miami appears to be moving closer to the full debut she has been building toward since City Girls began focusing on separate careers.
