BORN SHANNON COLLINS STAGE NAME YOUNG S.H.O born in OG county Maryland Raised in Johnston SC. I started doing music when I was 9 years of age sang on the gospel Choir and played drums. Star athlete in Track and field Gold medalist 400 meter hurdles and now I’m #14 On iTunes billboards from the field to the boards.
What first got you into music?
The sound plus I come from a family that dabbles in poetry my grand dad played guitar and sang with a group so I was born with it.
Who inspired you to make music?
THE JACKSON, James Brown, And just the sound of music how it takes you places man can’t.
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Different I like to mix my music with everything I’m not one dimensional. I love it all
What is your creative process like?
I let the beat tell me what to do or say. I rap with the instruments or sing. So I don’t get on a beat until it gives me a song instantly. If it doesn’t I don’t care how dope it is if I don’t hear music when it play I won’t touch it.
Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Big Krit, Gucci mane, Erykah Badu, Queen latifah if I could MC Lyte or Andre 3000
If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be? I would love to open for Travis Scott or even Tech N9NE
What is one message you would give to your fans?
STAY POSITIVE LOVE EACH OTHER CHECK ON YOUR PEOPLE TIME IS SHORT quit all the hate and beefing love each other

Lol yes I do all the time actually some James brown or what ever I can make up of what ever best is in my head

Do you have any upcoming shows? I have don shows in , LA, oakland , SF, DC, VA, MD, GA, FL, ORGEON, AND I have a show coming up April 20 Austin texas
How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
It has to me hurt it because the labels only see numbers not talent yeah it can benefit to a point of pushing info faster but so many IT guys and women they crack the codes so everybody can Minick originality was key James brown didn’t need a million record to get a deal the Beatles didn’t either but look at them the A&R used his gut and knowledge and can spot hit makers now everybody can’t do what they did now you got Instagram make sure you follow me @SPL.S.H.O on IG lol but yeah you need these things now being verified means alot in your career of music
What is your favorite song to perform?
I HAVE A SONG CALLED SILL AZZ and it gets the crowed moving I don’t care who is there they gonna get up
