YG Apologizes for Past Comments About the LGBTQ Community

YG started the new year with an apology to the LGBTQ community for disparaging comments he has made in the past. The “Go Loko” rapper took to Twitter on Wednesday, saying he is sorry for his past “ignorant” views.

“It’s been brought to my attention that my old views on life were ignorant,” YG said. “I apologize to the LGBTQ community for ever coming across like I was anything but respectful and accepting,” he continued.

It’s not immediately clear what brought about YG‘s apology, but some fans on Twitter speculated that it may have had something to do with his ex-girlfriend, Kehlani, who is openly bisexual. The two briefly dated in 2019.

Kehlani really teaching you the ways of the world..
