Will Power 912 and Slim Jxmmi (of Rae Srummerd) join forces to release their new single titled, “Love That For You”, a record dedicated to women, acknowledging them for their hard work; letting them know it doesn’t go unseen. This record comes as a follow up to their recent release, “Fine Sh*t Racthet.” Produced by Icin On Da Kake, the pair want to remind women we see and love the way you’re flourishing in life and how you’re getting results without any handouts. It’s a known fact that women (especially black women) have to work twice as hard than men just for an inch of notoriety; Will Power 912 and Slim Jxmmi are making it their business to appreciate hard working women out loud!
Will Power 912 is an emerging artist at heart and songwriter by trade who makes music for the people that don’t have a voice or someone that looks like them they can be inspired by. A South Georgia native (Statesboro, GA), he was encouraged by his then coach Sherman White to exercise his willpower; understanding this; he embodied the word and turned it into his name adding the 912 behind it to remind him where he comes from.
“Like I said at the end of the Verse “I love that for you just hadda remind her” a lot of women are doing all the work (holding down the household, taking care of kids by themselves, becoming first time homeowners, funding their lifestyle, closing deals, etc.) and they don’t get acknowledged. We just wanted to take the time to acknowledge them with this song and let them know we love that for them, we love what you’re doing, we love the work you’re putting in, and we love watching you get results!”
Will Power 912 and Slim Jxmmi are currently working on a collaboration album that will feature music with some of the biggest artists and producers in music today.
