Last night, Chicago’s United Center was packed with energy and excitement as Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out Live Tour 2024: The Final Lap hit the stage, delivering an unforgettable night full of comedy, music, and some incredible surprises.

Zeus Network’s Baddies Midwest Takeover

The surprises began with the Baddies Midwest Takeover, with several stars from the Zeus Network’s hit series, Baddies, making an appearance during the event. Not only did they join in on the fun, but the show also served as a backdrop for an episode filming for the next season of Baddies Midwest, giving the Chicago crowd an exclusive sneak peek into the upcoming season.

Angel Reese Shines as Team Captain

Another major highlight of the night was the appearance of Chicago Sky basketball star Angel Reese, who took on the role of Team Captain for the Wild ‘N Out games. Known for her competitive spirit on the court, Reese led her team through hilarious improv battles, keeping the crowd entertained throughout the night.

A Birthday Celebration for Nick Cannon

The night also coincided with a special occasion – Nick Cannon’s birthday. Fans joined the cast in celebrating the Wild ‘N Out creator’s big day, with surprise shoutouts and a special birthday tribute that added to the festive atmosphere.

Performances That Brought the House Down

G Herbo kicked off the night’s musical performances, bringing local pride and energy to the stage.

He was followed by the ever-energetic Waka Flocka Flame, who had the crowd jumping to his hits like “No Hands,” “Hard in Da Paint,” and “Grove St. Party.” His high-octane set kept the audience hyped during the intermission, with fans rapping along to his biggest tracks.Chicago legends Crucial Conflict then took the stage and performed their iconic hit “Smokin’ on Hay.” Their performance gave the audience a taste of Chicago hip-hop nostalgia, reminding everyone of the group’s influential role in the city’s music scene.

Finally, Rick Ross closed out the night with a memorable performance, delivering his hits in a grand finale.

To everyone’s surprise, despite their rumored beef over the summer, Rick Ross performed “I’m on One” featuring Drake, a moment that had the audience on their feet and buzzing.

Black-Owned Operation Shines

Behind the scenes, the tour’s success was made possible by an all-Black operation. Eugene Parker, CEO of 5120 Entertainment, and Rip Micheals Entertainment were integral in managing the tour’s production. Parker shared that the entire operation, from staffing to management, was handled by Black employees. “This is an all-Black operation, and we’re proud to be showcasing what Black excellence can look like in every aspect of this tour,” said Parker.

A Night of Laughter, Music, and Community

The Wild ‘N Out cast, including fan favorites like Rip Micheals, Justina Valentine, Conceited, DC Young Fly, and more, kept the crowd laughing all night. From the comedic sketches to the birthday celebrations, the event truly brought a sense of community, with Chicago taking center stage in the tour’s journey.

With surprises around every corner and a celebration of Black talent both on stage and behind the scenes, the Chicago stop of the Wild ‘N Out Live Tour was a night fans won’t soon forget.

Next Stop: Brooklyn

After the success of the Chicago stop, the Wild ‘N Out Live Tour is heading to Brooklyn for another high-energy performance on Friday, October 11 at the Barclays Center. Fans can expect another night filled with improv comedy, special guest appearances, and electrifying musical performances. With Nick Cannon leading the charge and a few surprises likely in store, Brooklyn fans are in for an unforgettable experience as the tour celebrates 20 years of Wild ‘N Out. Don’t miss out on the fun and the opportunity to see some of your favorite cast members, including DC Young Fly, Pretty Vee, Justina Valentine, and many more.
