Stevie Hammock is a Lynwood California producer that has pulled the strings behind many hits within the music industry. Being raised in Compton, California he grew up on legends like Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Quincy Jones, Diddy, Dr Dre, and Nelly among others. They played an important role in influencing his direction in music production. He would spend days on end perfecting his craft when a friend heard his work in the studio. Blown away by the sound, his response, “Stevie that knocks bro” was the birth of Stevie’s producer alias, Stevieknocks.
Over his time building his career, he would elevate to the point of working alongside major artists like Fivio Foreign, Chris Brown, Strick from Ysl, Og Maco, Billyracxx, Christian Royce, Devon Terrell, Famous Dex, and Lil Hbk among others. Moving to Hollywood for a better environment outside the negative energy in Compton, Stevieknocks has been expanding his reach over the past 10 years. This took him into higher industry ranks, getting support and love from artists like Nelly and advice from O.T. Genasis that pushed him to challenge himself to be innovative and original.
Stevieknocks has developed the ability to cook up a fire beat based on any idea an artist may have. When building a beat from scratch without any predetermined concepts, Stevieknocks lets the vibe of the moment inspire his creativity.
