Max B Speaks on Past Beef with Jim Jones: Watch

Max B and Jim Jones were at odds with one another at one point in time, which they eventually patched up while the rapper was in prison. Now, Max B has given some insight into why he and Jones had issues in the first place.

During a clip from his upcoming documentary, Max B said, “I think two egos were just coming together. Two big personalities. I wasn’t there for that. I was just happy to be involved, you know what I’m sayin’? I’m never trying to come take nobody s**t. I’m in my own — I’m in my own world, b. I’m an existentialist. I like to do my own s**t.”

Along with that, Max said, “It was just egos clashing, a lack of respect, you know what I’m sayin’? A lack of everything. That s**t don’t mix well. Next thing you know [Jim Jones and I] are beefin’. It should’ve went a different way. Today, I think we would’ve handled the situation different. We was young. We was all crazy.”
