Lil Wayne & XXXTentacion Dont Cry Video
Lil Wayne’s long delayed heavily anticipated album Tha Carter V received a mostly positive response last year upon its release.
With the popularity of XXXTentacion’s music on streaming, it was no surprise that their collaboration ‘Don’t Cry’ has been one of the best performing tracks on the LP which is already certified platinum.
Weezy has unveiled the music video for the heartfelt track today featuring bits of footage of the deceased rapper. Watch the out of this world-ly clip below.
Directed by Jay & Georgio Rodriguez, the “Don’t Cry” video places Tunechi in a gorgeous desert and in a king’s throne while he lets his emotions flow.
Old scenes of X are interwoven into the video, but are mainly used as b-roll. The finale, which features a mashup of X throwback videos, is bittersweet to watch.
