Minnesota Local Musician, professionally known as “True Dempsey”. Having released his first single in February 2019, is independently taking off. Raised in Milaca Minnesota, True is known for melodic, stirring, inspiring music, followed by his songwriting. His music is in the Rap / HipHop and Pop / Punk genre.
Charted Album “True Timing” released in June of ‘22 is about his childhood, present, and future life. Having two younger brothers to inspire, his will to quit is non existent. True reflects on his family through out this album periodically, what it’s like leading the way, being counted out, and coming up in music all at once. The lead single of this project “Timeless” was written after he was made known of his first child on the way. Expressing feeling lost, see through, and found again, the massive bridge of this song leaves his audience feeling inspired.
Track 2/3 “Small Town” and “Things Change” are nothing less of the next hits on this project. Followed by his life experiences, he moves onto demographically where he is from. Milaca, being home of less than 3,000 people, gives True a loud and catchy hook. He memorably mentions what it’s like coming up from a small town. Loyalty and trust issues are expressed in track 3. Being so relatable, the first 3 tracks of this album leave the listeners with an urge to keep going.
