Toxic Prodigy Calls out the industry Fakers with New Single 'Crack Audio'

The hit new single from HipHop aficionado ToxicProdigy is a powerful call out to the processed & manufactured nature of the Rap industry where artist fakery is gradually becoming the norm – ‘Crack Audio,’ aims to target and counter this with hard hitting bars, evoking rhyme schemes and an incessantly catchy flow. The tense piano intro utilises an arpeggiated dissonance which gracefully compliments the driving HipHop beat. ‘Crack Audio,’ was expertly produced by Starkore and mastered by both Cik Mik and ToxicProdigy to create this almost melodic Drill hit. The lyrics, written alongside rapper Junk, depict the story of hard work and effort that ToxicProdigy has put into his musicianship; there is a distinct contrast between his organic grass roots and the, ‘same Drake sh*t,’ that the rest of the Rap industry seem to be limiting itself to. It’s a perfect diss and hit all in one – certainly not one to miss.

In a world where fakery is becoming the norm, Toxic Prodigy‘s new song is a welcome reminder that authenticity and hard work should always come first.

It seems that in today’s music industry, musicians are no longer judged on their talent and dedication, but rather on their ability to create a carefully crafted image and put on a polished performance. Gone are the days when raw talent and hard work were enough to make it in the music world. Now, it seems that artists are more concerned with appearing perfect than with creating genuine and meaningful art.

This shift towards fakery is disappointing, to say the least. It takes away from the authenticity and emotional impact of music, and reduces it to a superficial show. It also creates an unrealistic standard for aspiring musicians, who may feel pressure to conform to this fake image in order to succeed.

Furthermore, the increasing prevalence of fakery in music undermines the entire industry. It erodes trust between artists and their fans, and makes it harder for truly talented musicians to stand out. Overall, the trend towards fakery in the music industry is concerning, and it’s up to both musicians and fans to reject it and demand authenticity in art.

But despite the harsh critique, there’s a glimmer of hope in the song. Toxic Prodigy encourages musicians to stay true to themselves and their art, even if it means going against the trend of fakery. He urges artists to put in the hard work and dedication necessary to truly excel, rather than taking the easy route of trying to fake it.

Hailing from the Canadian province of British Columbia, ToxicProdigy has had an ear for music from a young age and was always, ‘drawing and listening to music.’ This sparked an adoration and passion for a slightly different creative industry in tattooing yet this was soon to be replaced by a HipHop obsession after local talent show competitions drew him into Rap. Life’s hardships then started to take its toll on ToxicProdigy and he channeled the emotional stress into his music. He has a remarkably personable goal of being a voice for those who don’t have one. “A lot of messed up things happened to me when I was a kid, but it was music that helped me move forward. If I can do that for even just 1 person, I’m happy.” ToxicProdigy has been officially in the music industry for 3 years with a mix of Dark Trap, Boom bap, Horrorcore etc. with his unique voice & deep lyricism. Even in that short time frame, he has made it clear… he’s here to stay.
