T-Pain and Chris Brown rekindled the magic on their latest single “Wake Up Dead,” which T-Pain debuted during his Verzuz battle with Lil Jon on Instagram Live earlier this month.
The ‘Rapper Ternt Sanga’ has managed to keep busy, having recently worked with both Smino and Tory Lanez on Chixtape V.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting a reunion from the two, who have recorded numerous hits throughout the years including “Best Love Song,” “Classic You,” and 2007’s chart-topper “Kiss Kiss.”
In the song he sings, “If I ain’t got you then I’m already gone / Baby, don’t leave me alone.” Inspired by Scary Movie 3, the T-Pain and KC Supreme-produced song finds him professing his love to his lady in his life.
“Wake Up Dead” features co-writing credits from T-Pain’s wife Amber Najm. “@panpan2211 helped me write this, so this one super special to me,” he said.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting a reunion from the two, who have recorded numerous collaborations throughout the years including “Best Love Song,” “Freeze,” “Classic You,” and 2007’s chart-topper “Kiss Kiss.”
T-Pain is now gearing up for his new album Precious Stones, the follow-up to last year’s 1UP. He has been previewing new music for fans over the last few months.
