Kemba was evidently absent for the majority of 2018. The rapper released a few singles, but aside from that, we didn’t hear much. However, clearly, he was plotting on his next movie.
Towards the end of 2018, it was announced that he penned a deal with Republic Records. With the major label behind him, he’s bound to do some big things this year. Kemba kicks off 2019 with his brand new single, “Deadass.”
Kemba embraces his hometown of New York City on his latest track, “Deadass.” The rapper kicks some flow smooth flows over a boom-bap/jazz-influenced beat that he produced himself.
The rapper’s new song follows the release of “Exhale” featuring Smino that he released in November. We’re excited to hear what else he has up his sleeve this year. “Deadass” is a clear indication that he’s got some heat up his sleeve.
