Although it’s been nearly three years since In My Mind was released, BJ the Chicago Kid has kept busy with various collaborations, features, short-films, and performances. But the world needs more music from the Southside native!
BJ The Chicago Kid has loaned his vocals to a handful of dope features over the last few years, but we haven’t gotten an album from him in ages.
So, with a new project hopefully on the horizon, BJ has shared an alternative version of H.E.R‘s “Could’ve Been” with him replacing Bryson Tiller.
His verse adds a little refresher on the single, although there was nothing wrong with the original. The “Southside Remix” is a quick remedy for those looking for new BJ music, but nothing more.
