The Baton Rouge legend has earned the right to call himself one of Gucci Mane‘s peers. The nature of their “even-keel” dynamic was evident the moment they were introduced to one another in late-June, with Gucci paying homage to his “peer” in naming him a fellow “Hood Legend.”
And to think, for reasons likely pertaining to their respective prison sentences and geolocations, Kev and Gucci never sat down for a recording session together, until now. “I’m Not Goin'” is to my knowledge, a premeditated affair both men would happily write off as an enforceable labor of love.
