SOB X RBE Celebrate a Decade of Brotherhood on Comeback Track “Ten Summers”

SOB X RBE have returned with “Ten Summers,” their first new song together in seven years. The reunion brings Yhung T.O., DaBoii and Slimmy B back together for a record celebrating the Bay Area group’s evolution, resilience and enduring brotherhood, according to Pitchfork.

The title recognizes the decade that has passed since SOB X RBE formed in North Vallejo in 2016. While the track carries the triumphant energy expected from their return, it also reflects the maturity gained during their years apart. The members have grown into adulthood, become fathers and developed a clearer understanding of the bond that originally brought them together.

Rather than ignoring the challenges that previously surrounded the group, “Ten Summers” presents the reunion as an opportunity to move forward on their own terms. The song emphasizes reconciliation and personal growth, showing that experiences which once appeared impossible to overcome do not have to permanently destroy a friendship.

The accompanying music video celebrates SOB X RBE’s Bay Area history while looking toward their next chapter. E-40 makes a cameo, and the visual also includes a reference to “Paramedic!,” the group’s breakout collaboration from Black Panther: The Album that introduced their sound to a much wider audience.

“Ten Summers” follows SOB X RBE’s first performance together in seven years, which took place in March. The group has also announced appearances at Back 2 the Bay in San Jose and New West Coast in Salt Lake City, with additional performances expected to be revealed.

With “Ten Summers,” SOB X RBE return without attempting to recreate the exact circumstances of their earlier success. The single celebrates everything they accomplished while presenting three artists who have grown personally and are prepared to begin a new chapter together.
