Richie Rozay’s Puts the Bronx and its Talent on His Back with his New Project “Lead the Way”

BRONX, NY (July 22, 2022) — Richie Rozay’s new project Lead The Waycements him as one of the premier and well respected talents out of the Bronx. Rozay makes sure to showcase his talent while also highlighting the City’s best young talent. On the 12-track effort, Rozay has features from Highbridge the Label’s Lil Rekk and Don Q as well as Drill Rap heavyweights like B-Loveeand Sha Ek.

“Lead The Way” comes off of the success of his 2021 project “Street Poet”which featured tracks like “Keep Your Head Up”, “Hurt Me” and most notably “No Love Songs” with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. The lovelorn track has racked up over 440,000 streams on Spotify and has helped Rozay boost an already die hard local fanbase.

“Lead The Way” is a project dedicated to myself, my fans, and the culture .. on this tape there will be a mixture of pain, new melodies, and even drill. After this project I’ll be locking in with myself to take my craft to the next level and giving my fans/the streets, “Street Poet 2“ — Richie Rozay on new mixtape and what fans can expect next

Elaborating stylistically and lyrically on his last project, Rozay is at his best when detailing the trials and tribulations of his life, as well as painting a picture of life in the Bronx. On “See I’m Tryin” with Lil Rekk, Rozay stories a rocky relationship where the question of his partner’s loyalty is hanging in the balance. On the hook, Rozay explains that even though he’s been following the wrong path, he still needs someone by his side.

Another highlight off of the album is “Manifest” which sees the rapper asking the people around him if they’d be there at his lowest. Rozay croons, “can you just be here when it all falls down, told you I love you needed you now.”

With Lead the Way, Richie Rozay aims to be the voice of the Bronx without leaving behind the talent BX has to offer. Check out Rozay’s new project out now on ALL streaming platforms.
