Reckless Boy Slap Set to Release Highly Anticipated Solo Album "First Therapy Session" on January 20th, 2024

Reckless Boy Slap, an emerging rap and hip-hop artist hailing from Wilmington, North Carolina, is thrilled to announce the release of his solo album, “First Therapy Session,” scheduled to drop on January 20th, 2024, across all major streaming platforms.

Born on October 14th, 1996, as a 27-year-old artist with a profound passion for music dating back to his elementary school days, Reckless Boy Slap has come a long way from playing various instruments in school bands to becoming a force in the rap and hip-hop scene. Influenced by iconic figures such as T.I., 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, and inspired by contemporary artists like Lil Durk, Lil Baby, NBA YoungBoy, Tee Grizzley, Polo G, and the late King Von, Reckless Boy Slap has honed a distinctive style characterized by his deep raspy voice.

Reckless Boy Slap, also known as the “Underdog of the 910,” founded the Reckless Boys group (RBN) with his right-hand man, RBN Slick. The group represents a tight-knit brotherhood that has been overlooked and forgotten, with the name stemming from their shared experiences of reckless driving, legal troubles, and youthful escapades. The addition of “Nation” to the group’s name symbolizes a global takeover.

The duo recently dropped a collaborative tape titled “They Hate Us,” available on all streaming platforms, addressing the challenges faced by the Reckless Boys within their city. Despite staying connected with his group, Reckless Boy Slap is set to make a powerful solo statement with “First Therapy Session.”

The upcoming solo album promises a raw and authentic exploration of Reckless Boy Slap‘s personal journey, delving into hidden traumas, heartbreaks, broken friendships, and the losses of loved ones. With tracks addressing mental health issues, anxiety, and depression, “First Therapy Session” offers a glimpse into the artist’s vulnerable side, breaking the mold of traditional pride in the hip-hop genre.

“I feel like I express a side that most would be embarrassed about expressing in music because of pride,” says Reckless Boy Slap. The album covers themes of breakups, betrayals, backstabbing, heartbreak, and mourning, creating a relatable narrative for audiences worldwide.

Beyond his musical pursuits, Reckless Boy Slap has taken on the responsibility of caring for his father, who faces various health conditions, including the aftermath of a stroke. This unexpected role has significantly impacted the artist’s life, adding depth to his music as he channels real emotions into his songs.

“I hope one day the world will feel me and support my music as I give my heart on the songs to come,” shares Reckless Boy Slap. “I never wanted the fame; I just want to provide a better life for my family and brothers who have been with me every step of the way.”

“First Therapy Session” is poised to make a lasting impact in the hip-hop landscape, showcasing Reckless Boy Slap‘s authenticity, resilience, and undeniable talent. Fans and music enthusiasts alike are eagerly awaiting the album’s release on January 20th, 2024, as Reckless Boy Slap continues to rise as a prominent voice in the rap and hip-hop scene.
