Pablo Vereda Releases New Single ‘Saliva’ ft. BABYODA

‘Saliva’ is the hot new track to come from Brazilian artist Pablo Vereda. Also featuring BABYODA, this is sure to be a massive summer hit. Originally written in 2018, ‘Saliva’ sees Pablo channel his influences from Kanye and Playboi Carti.

Drawing special reference to ‘Die Lit’, Playboi Carti’s album produced by Pi’erre Bourne, which Pablo Vereda highlights as significantly important in the creation of ‘Saliva’, particularly regarding the synth sounds used on the album’s opening track. With an intensely modern sound, ‘Saliva’ features lyrics discussing Pablo’s own drug addiction and recent break up. With its highly synthesised sound and artful use of auto-tune, ‘Saliva’ is sure to stand out from the crowd this summer.

Pablo Vereda is an impressive emerging artist from Brazil. Originally a student of Jazz, Pablo attended the New York Conservatoire before transferring to study music production in LA. Citing Tyler, The Creator as a major influence, Pablo Vereda’s stage name is both a reference to Kanye’s seminal album ‘The Life of Pablo’ and also to ‘Grande Sertão Veredas’, a book by Guimarães Rosa. From Jazz, Soul, Funk, Trap, to R&B, Pablo Vereda doesn’t allow himself to be boxed into one genre, and lets his creativity shine through his eclectic music.
