Cardi B surprised fans when she announced that she and Offset had split.
Now more details are emerging on what may have led to their sudden breakup. Alleged text messages, obtained by TMZ, have leaked showing that Offset was interested in a threesome…and it didn’t include his wife.
Offset allegedly texted a woman who goes by Summer Bunni asking her to arrange a ménage à trois with another female rapper, Cuban Doll. “I want u and Cuban can u make that happen,” Offset allegedly wrote before offering to fly the two women out to New Orleans.
The leak, which was reportedly initiated by another woman who had a falling out with Cuban, also included a photo of a FaceTime conversation with Offset. Offset’s texts are dated June 28, just a couple weeks before Cardi gave birth to their daughter Kulture.
Cardi, who wed Offset in a secret ceremony last year, says she and her husband had been “trying to work things out” for a long time. “It’s nobody’s fault. It’s just like I guess we grew out of love,” she said, adding that they will remain friends and business partners.
As for Offset, his only comment on the breakup has been “Y’all won.”
The couple’s relationship has been plagued by cheating rumors, but Cardi has defended their marriage in the past. In January, she spoke out after Offset was involved in a sex tape scandal. “I don’t need to be rushed or be told what to do. It’s my life! I belong to me not the world,” she said at the time.
