Official D-Weezy is an unsigned artist from Crowley, Louisiana. He has a unique ability to turn his pain into passion through his music, making him the voice of his city and a role model for many young people in the area. D-Weezy started his own label, Hawdaway Muzik LLC, and is currently working on his fifth album, Guardian Angels, which is set to be released on Christmas Day. He is also collaborating with Mac Malone on a project that is expected to be released in December 2022.
D-Weezy’s music career started when he was in school, singing in the hallways and at basketball practice. Despite initially thinking that his classmates were joking when they encouraged him to take his talent seriously, he eventually realized that he had real potential and began working to find his sound and his place in the music industry. His hard work has paid off as he has four albums under his belt and on the verge of releasing his fifth.
In addition to his music, D-Weezy has been getting attention for his unique style of fashion and has “a few Big and Tall modeling gigs on the table. They love the way I can put together an outfit and make it pop. There’s no other big guy that can pull this off like I can, I’m one of a kind! It’s a blessing when you can be a triple threat – I can catch their eye, attention, and ear, there’s no way I can lose. I’ve also been working on my own clothing brand, Hawdaway Apparel, that I’ll be presenting real soon. I’ve shown love to local clothing designers like Hipsters Clubhouse, 5figures, and Respect Over Fame.
Some of D-Weezy’s most memorable moments include his first performance in Houston, Texas, as well as a recent show where he performed in front of his biggest crowd yet. His biggest supporter is his mother, who has always believed in his talent and encouraged him to pursue his dreams. In his free time, D-Weezy enjoys spending time with his family and working on building the blue print to create generational wealth for his kids so they don’t have to go through what he’s endured.
