Hailing from the plains of South Dakota, $oDaK is an emerging artist with a deep passion for music that traces back to his earliest memories. With the Instagram handle @sodak_0, he’s a rapper first and foremost, but his journey is marked by a refusal to be boxed into any one genre. Instead, he’s spent the last few years experimenting, exploring new sounds, and pushing the boundaries of his musical creativity.
Music has always been a central part of $oDaK’s life. Growing up, he was surrounded by a wide range of artists, thanks to his dad and siblings who introduced him to an eclectic mix of genres. Despite having been in the music game for six years, $oDaK feels that his journey is just beginning. He’s been writing and creating for what feels like a long time, but he believes he’s only scratched the surface of his potential. With countless songs written, enough to fill at least five albums, $oDaK is focused on polishing his work before releasing a full project.
His most memorable moment in his career has yet to arrive, but he knows it’s close. There’s a hunger and drive in $oDaK that propels him forward, always working on new projects and never slowing down. His latest release, “SELFLOVE,” dropped on August 22nd, and he’s already gearing up for his next single, “FOR MY PEOPLE,” set to release on September 4th.
