Police released bodycam footage from an incident at an Atlanta hotel involving NBA YoungBoy and the mother of one of his kids, Star Thigpen, back in February.
TMZ obtained the police body camera footage. In the clip, NBA and his baby mama, Starr Thigpen, were apprehended outside a hotel room. One of the cops is seen pulling a taser at him. The also video shows NBA YoungBoy and Thigpen arguing with officers, who claim that Thigpen “slapped somebody,” which is why the Taser was drawn.
Police were called to the hotel after an altercation ensued between Thigpen and a housekeeper after hotel workers entered a room that was supposed to be vacant and found Thigpen and NBA YoungBoy inside. The “Kick Yo Door” rapper allegedly told Thigpen to kick out the housekeepers, which led to the altercation.
NBA YoungBoy was arrested in the incident for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, “use of fighting words,” and physical obstruction with another. However, prosecutors didn’t pursue the misdemeanor charges.
