Detroit has welcomed many superstars to their stages, including YK Osiris for his Worth It tour. Performing at Music Hall Center in Detroit, MI, his tour featured a few opening acts that got the crowd hype well before the main performer. One up and coming artist that got positive reactions from the concert goers was Middle EastSide Tmo.
Mainstream record labels that represent some of your favorite artists have him under their radar. Social media seems to be the greatest platform to be seen as an artist, and A&R teams are pretty active on Instagram, trust us. #IFYKYK
“It feels like I’m getting one step closer to my goal,” Tmo tells us. “My goal is not to be signed, but to be heard. Whether signed or independent, I’m ready.”
The rising artist is known for his roots in both music and his Pakistani background. If his name sounds familiar, you’ve probably heard him on Detroit’s Hot 107.5 this past summer.
He has songs with Swaino, Babytron, Ali (SomeArabGuy) and an upcoming single with a surprise major rap artist. In 2020, he performed in Toronto, Chicago, and was scheduled to perform for SXSW 2020 Austin local events prior to COVID19.
